About

I write books for young and new adults about having the courage to be true to yourself, standing up for what you know is right, and of course, falling in love. I’ve got lots of ideas for books in multiple genres including thriller, sci-fi, fantasy, and even a western.

Mental Health

I’m autistic (Level 1) and I have ADHD, Bi-Polar II, and Generalized Anxiety. As a neurodivergent adult I believe it’s crucial that I talk openly about my mental health. As a teenager I felt isolated and depressed because the only person like me was my dad and he wasn’t the picture of mental wellness. I am here to tell you that being a functional adult is harder for me than someone without all my diagnoses, but I’m doing it. If you are feeling hopeless, please reach out to someone or call 1-800-273-TALK(8255) and know that I believe in you.

Nerd Stuff

When I’m not writing I’m reading, whether it’s a new novel, non-fiction, or some classic fanfiction, I love a good story. I spend an inordinate amount of time on my favorite Fantasy and Sci-Fi RPG games: Mass Effect and Dragon Age. I also like to crochet and cross-stitch while binge watching Survivor or Stargate. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love to cosplay.

Education

I started writing stories when my 7th grade English teacher (Thanks Mr. Reynolds!) told me I had a talent for telling stories and since I’d been telling tales since I started speaking, I kept at it. After dabbling for years, I began taking creative writing classes in college and Graduated with a Bachelor’s in English from the University of Utah of 2015.
